Abstract

The article analyzes the documents of the World Summit regarding the information national support, investigation of education network Eurydice by determining the utilization degree of the use of computer informational technologies (CIT) in teaching and learning in schools in Europe, Recommendations of the European Parliament and of the Council on key competences for lifelong learning, other publications and documents. The leading countries experience for the informational technologies implementation in the educational process is described: the adoption of CIT competence as a means of formation of other competencies. In addition implementation and financing of the state programs on informatization of education, the extensive use of cloud-based technologies, electronic and distance learning, repository of electronic resources establishment, and development of assessment models status of informatization of the institution. The basic tendencies of information technologies development in education are detailed.
