Abstract

The article deals with the problem of actualization of the educational potential of youth research in historical and cultural heritage in the information society. The existing problems in the area of protection and promotion of historical and cultural heritage at the local level were allocated and summarized. The basic approaches to research and development activity among young people in the historic community were clarified. Civic potential of youth research of historical and cultural heritage was found that reflect the long history of the historic environment and it is a condition for its sustainable cultural development.
