Abstract
The article is devoted to the evaluation of information and communication competence in the system of General secondary education in foreign countries and in Ukraine in comparative pedagogical context and to the role of information and communication technologies in the formation of IT-competence. The view of the international community on the issues of standardization and assessment of competence of students and teachers is presented. The problems that exist in the sphere of teacher straining in terms of the evaluation of their competence in the field of ICT are highlighted.References
