THE LEVELS OF DIGITAL COMPETENCE FORMATION IN FUTURE MASTERS OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING OF AGRICULTURAL PROFILE

Abstract

Modern vocational education is setting a new direction oriented on formation of digital competence in future specialists and lifelong learning. This includes fundamental changes in the vocational tasks of vocational education. Therefore, training must be adapted to the requirements of the new context. The article explores the problem of determining the levels of digital competence formation in future vocational masters of agricultural profile. The results of the study of the levels of digital competence formation of students - future masters of vocational training of agricultural profile are presented. Indicators of digital competence are identified: information, computer, communication literacy, media literacy and attitude to technology. The development of digital competence is related to three levels of experience: beginner, integrator, expert. A comparative diagram is presented, which shows the distribution of respondents according to the level of digital competence and the chart of mastery of digital technologies by future masters of industrial training in professional activity. The study identified some features of digital competence formation depending on age. It has been established that the level of use of digital technologies in the educational process reflects on the quality of education and contributes to the formation of digital competence of educational recipients. Based on the conducted research, problems that affect the development of digital competence of future agricultural production masters have been identified: low digitalization of vocational education, lack of requirements for teacher's digital competence, necessity of development and introduction of criteria for development of digital competence.
