Abstract

In the article the professional development of teacher is examined in the system of pedagogical education in accordance to the principles of information culture development, teachers’ ICT competence: teachers’ motivation and necessities in the use of ICT resources for their professional development and perception by them ICT as values, as a mean and environment of their professional development, readiness to the ICT studies as  possibility for their professional development, level of formation of ICT competence and basic directions to its perfection using ICT. Materials of the article analyze the results of questionnaire of naturally scientific disciplines teachers and outline the prospects of creation of model of teachers’ professional development by means of ICT.
