Abstract

Teacher professional development can be more efficient with the help of computer technology, such as creating online communities of educators with ongoing support of various online learning tools and usage of multimedia learning objects and interactive Web 2.0 tools. Since 2009 the Skills for Success program is implementing in Ukraine. The program was created in collaboration with the educational-governmental organizations of different countries and adapted to the Ukraine state educational standards. Technology used in the program as a means of developing and building of the 21st century skills. ICT competencies of teachers are increased through the online communities of teachers and through various of distance learning courses.
