Abstract

In the article there are presented the main characteristics of the software as an Internet service, on the example of the package of services in the "cloud" Microsoft Office 365. The functionality of these services is described. The principle for operation of package Microsoft Office 365 is disclosed in. There are defined the positive and negative aspects of the program as an Internet service and identified some of its development prospects. The prospects of the software as a service for creating and editing documents for digital library, training, documentation etc. are indicated there.
