Abstract
The article contains an analytical review of modern approaches to the organisation of blended learning in the context of practical and laboratory work in prehigher education institutions. The research made maximum use of the potential of comprehensive, competence-based and systematic scientific approaches. Their combination made it possible to conduct a comprehensive analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature, in particular monographs and dissertations devoted to the chosen topic. It is noted that for the successful integration of Ukrainian prehigher education institutions into the European educational space, it is necessary to solve a number of problems, in particular: the development of high-quality English-language training programmes, increasing the level of trust of international partners, modernising the material and technical base, and updating the content of educational programmes in line with the needs of the labour market. Based on an analysis of scientific literature and a summary of the results of an online survey of participants in the educational process, an author's model for the professional training of specialists in electronic communications and radio engineering in a blended learning environment was developed, which was the goal of the study. The author's model includes four interrelated blocks: target, theoretical and organisational, procedural, and experimental and results-oriented, which allows for a comprehensive reflection of the structure and logic of the educational process. The results of the experiment showed that there are dynamics of changes in the control and experimental groups ‘before’ and ‘after’ the implementation of the author's model of blended learning, which proves the effectiveness of blended learning implementation, in particular in conducting practical and laboratory work.
The novelty of the research lies in the creation of a comprehensive model that contributes to the improvement of the organisation of practical training for students majoring in ‘Electronic Communications and Radio Engineering.’ The results obtained are important for developing recommendations for improving blended learning practices and developing effective strategies for training specialists in electronic communications.
