Abstract

One of the main activities of the university is the use of information and communication technologies in education. This article presents an overview of the international ratings of the web of the universities — Webometrics ranking of world's universities.The detailed review of the rating criteria to evaluate the scientific activity of universities in the Webometrics Internet environment; the analysis of the place of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University in Webometrics ranking of the universities of Ukraine and the world, as well as recommendations to improve the ranking of the university in the Web environment are presented.
