Abstract

From a pedagogical point of view, visualization of information should be interpreted as an instrument for fixing and broadcasting the instructed learning material. The article deals with the specifics of Google resources, emphasizes their openness, accessibility and significant potential during the visualization of information in the educational process. Google Earth, Google Mars, Google Moon, Google Sky, Google Maps, Google My Business, Google Art Project and the Google Street View tool are analyzed. At the time of increased demand for the perception of a large amount of information they facilitate the submission of data through electronic means and are effectively perceived by all participants in the educational process. The technology of creation of Google maps that assist in clarifying and working out the object of learning material is described; the examples of their use are presented. Taken a certain transdisciplinarity of such mapping tools into account, the subject areas of Geography, Biology, Foreign Language, Ukrainian Literature, Mathematics, Computer Science, History, Art, Chemistry, and Physics are presented. The Google Street View function as well as 360-degree panoramic image creation process is characterized. It is proposed to update the information bank with visual information by creating the location of their own institution together with the Google My Business application. The interactive educational project Google Art Project is described. It enables anyone to create their own galleries, compare artistic works, and explore in detail the digitized objects of the cultural heritage of the world community. The article also highlights the research, project, interdisciplinary and information and communication approaches which ensure active use of geoinformation resources in a number of subjects of natural sciences and mathematics, social and humanitarian cycles.
