Abstract

The scientific article substantiates the theoretical and practical principles of information and cultural socialization of primary school children by means of video hosting YouTube. The study clarifies the concept of "information and cultural socialization of primary school children by means of video hosting YouTube", which is considered to be as individual integration into the modern Internet information society, the formation of Internet culture, learning socio-moral norms and values which are transmitted by primary school children under the influence of the Internet environment and are designed in interaction with various institutions of socialization, in the decision-making process, the choice of educational trajectory. In the article, components, criteria, indicators and levels of formation of information and cultural socialization of personality are characterized. In order to carry out socio-pedagogical activities in the context of information and cultural socialization of primary school children by means of video hosting YouTube, a model of this process has been defined and characterized. Its purpose is socialization of primary school children by means of video hosting YouTube through the formation of information technology knowledge, conscious attitude to the Internet-information; development of creative skills, expansion of social ties in the process of interaction with other Internet users; information culture and Internet behavior culture education. The authors have proposed a video booking technology that can be used in the social educator’s activity within the preventive, social-educational, socialization activities of primary school children. They describe the procedure for its implementation in educational process; it consists of three stages. The effectiveness of the developed model and video booking technology and its implementation in the educational process at school has been experimentally tested.
