Abstract

Project-based method in teaching English is explored in the article. Its role for students' communicative competence development is defined. The study analyzes the factors affecting speaking skills. The article presents the detailed analysis of blended learning system, and project-based method with multimedia technology usage as a means of communication skills improving for students of non-linguistic specialties at the National University of Food Technologies. It has been proved that efficiency of speaking skills directly depends on students' engagement in the tasks, that is fully covered by project method, which is optimum in blended learning system.
