Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the NAES of Ukraіne is a leading scientific institution in the educational system of Ukraine, whose mission is to conduct basic and applied research to address current theoretical and methodological, and scientific-methodological problems of development, implementation and use of software and hardware training and ICT in education.

Institute for Digitalisation of Education is a state institution within the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine and a member of the Association of Users of Ukrainian Research and Academic Network (URAN Association) (see. №52).

Journal History

2006 - Electronic scientific professional edition "INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES AND LEARNING TOOLS" was founded in December 2006.

2007 - The journal introduced to the "List of scientific professional publications" in pedagogical sciences (Decree of the Supreme Attestation Commission's Presidium of Ukraine № 1-05/4 on April 12, 2007).

2009 - Publication frequency - 6 times a year.

2010 - Edition has been moved to a new journal management and publishing system Open Journal Systems (OJS) that has been developed by the Public Knowledge Project (Canada).

2016 - The journal is included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI) catalog of the Web of Science Core Collection scientometric database.

2018 - The journal is included in the "List of Scientific Professional Editions of Ukraine" (Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine No. 1412, December 18, 2018). The scientific edition is assigned the Category "A" in the field of pedagogical sciences (13.00.02-13.00.10), in specialties - 011, 012, 013, 014, 015, 016, 017, 126.

2022 - Renaming of the publisher: the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the NAES of Ukraine was renamed to the Institute for Digitalisation of Education of the National Academy of Educational Sciences of Ukraine.

2023 - Journal Impact Factor (JIF) in Web of Science Core Collection has been received. As of January 20, 2024, this indicator is equal to 0.8 in the category "Education and educational research". Journal citation indicator (JCI, 2022) – 0.45 (Q3).
