Abstract

Relevance of the article is to study the impact of social networks on the learning of pupils and students, which is characterized by the interpenetration of teaching and communication aspects of the life of pupils and students. In recent years the volume of training materials and its quality requirements are increasing. Therefore there is a need for better organization of educational process, increase of the motivation of pupils and students to learn. Social networking can be a powerful motivator in the learning process. The article aims to prove the feasibility of social networks using in teaching of students and future teachers training. The article deals with the optimal use of social networking as means of information and communication space, formal and informal communication for learning. The article specifically mentions the advantages of social networking in educational activities and the results of the level of penetration of social networks "VKontakte" in the social groups in Ukraine.
