Abstract
In the article it is shown that informatization of education is the decision factor for achievement of main aims of modern education reformation. Also in Zhytomyr region it has been investigated the level of informatization of general educational institutions, the ways of information and communication technologies using in professional teachers’ work, understanding by teachers the place of computer and information and communication technologies in education. In this article it is proposed the concept of "informatization of education"; approaches for construction and development of information and educational sphere of the region. The problems of introducing the information and communication technology in secondary schools area are determined.References
