Abstract
Urgency of the material stated in the article is caused by urgent requirements of educational community for appropriate protection of the copyright in the conditions of use of information-communication technologies, increase of competence of pedagogical and scientific workers, heads of educational institutions concerning intellectual property protection at creation and use of electronic teaching materials, assistance of harmonization the copyright relations in the information educational environment. The retrospective analysis of scientific researches of domestic and foreign experts concerning copyright observance in information field gives the chance to define the basic approaches and problems which arise in the system of competence increase and awareness of teachers concerning copyright protection.
