Abstract
Formation of the individual ability to continuous self-improvement through self-education is an actual problem for all levels of education. The urgent need for implementation of the concept of lifelong learning need for special attention to the problem of self-education in the information society cause the pertinence of the material, presented in the article. Essence and structure of self-educational competence of the modern specialist and also the technology of its formation in the process of training qualified personnel for modern society in institutions of higher education is scientifically proved in the article.References
