Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of increase of information literacy of library workers in connection with active development of information technologies and introduction of electronic libraries. There are explained “information literacy” and "standards of information literacy" concepts, noted requirements to the modern librarian. There is analyzed the state of librarians advanced training in Ukraine. In the article are selected general educational resources for the increase of information literacy of librarians, which are offered in the Internet. There is offered the special course of “Basis of librarian information literacy”. This course satisfies modern requirements to the librarian.References
